Complaints procedure in accordance with Sections 8, 9 of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

SIEGENIA respects the human rights and personal rights of our employees and all employees along the entire supply and value chain. We do not accept any violations of human and environmental rights and take immediate countermeasures in the event of violations. We are also expressly committed to this in our Declaration of Principles on Human Rights Strategy, which you can find on our homepage under "Company".

In particular, SIEGENIA does not tolerate child and forced labor, unequal treatment of employees, an unsafe working environment and adverse environmental impacts. Appropriate remedial measures are taken if such violations become known.

We have set up a complaints procedure so that SIEGENIA employees, employees of companies along our supply chains, other persons who are potentially affected by human rights or environmental violations and persons who have knowledge of possible abuses can contact SIEGENIA.

Potential human rights and environmental risks or breaches of duty can be reported to us via the e-mail address below:

whistleblower@siegenia.com

The confidentiality of the identity will be maintained and the content of the report will be treated confidentially. We also do everything necessary to protect people from being disadvantaged or penalized because of their report.

Process:

You will receive confirmation of receipt of your report (no later than 7 days after receipt of your report) and the reported facts will be processed immediately by a specially established SIEGENIA reporting team. The members of the reporting team are impartial and are not bound by instructions with regard to the complaints procedure.

They will check whether the reported facts fall within the scope of the complaints procedure. If necessary, we will contact you to obtain further information on the facts of the case or to clarify any open questions. If the report does not fall within the scope of application, you will be informed accordingly.

SIEGENIA will take appropriate measures to ensure that you are adequately protected against discrimination, punishment or reprisals as a result of your report.

If it actually turns out that there is a concrete breach of duty or a concrete risk, SIEGENIA will immediately and consistently take appropriate remedial measures. These measures will be taken - if necessary - in consultation with you as the complainant and - if necessary - with the involvement of the contractual partners concerned.

Please describe the facts of the case to us as comprehensively as possible. Your report will help us to uncover damaging behavior and then do the right thing.
